Summary: Seeking a Product Development Engineer with expertise in mechanical, materials science, or chemical engineering to lead technical activities in automotive product development.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering Five to eight years of product/process engineering experience Hands-on experience with production and lab equipment

Preferred Skills:

Master of Science degree Six Sigma greenbelt certification Knowledge of magnet wire products and applications Familiarity with APQP and project management

Responsibilities:

Lead technical activities for automotive product development projects Plan and organize project activities from Phase 0 to Phase 5 Translate customer requirements into specifications and testing activities Conduct DFMEAs, identify risks, and engineer risk mitigation strategies Identify validation and verification activities for design needs Lead internal design reviews and present findings in customer design reviews Practice lean and six sigma methodologies in design processes

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
