Job Title: Mechanical Product Development Engineer

Job Summary: The Mechanical Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for medical diagnostic equipment. This role requires expertise in SolidWorks and a strong understanding of product development processes to support our R&D initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and clinical experts, to ensure product designs meet all requirements.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product concepts.Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.Prototype and test mechanical components to validate design concepts.Support the transition of products from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM) principles are applied.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during the development and production phases.Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and medical device regulations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably in the medical device industry.Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical components.Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.Benefits:

Work Environment: The position is located in Dallas, TX. The work environment is collaborative, involving close interactions with various parts of the business to deliver great products. The role offers 2 weeks of PTO and 11 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00
