Product Development Engineer/ Team Lead
Job Title: Product Development Engineer/Team Lead Job Description Manage the technical team performance to project schedule and cost and support the program manager. Lead the new product development processes of electromechanical systems for commercial and military platforms. Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, judgment, cooperation, and ability to communicate technical information. Support new business pursuits that address program technical requirements and associated schedule and costs. Lead a technical team from the beginning to the end of a new development project. Communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently. Interface with both commercial and military customers in technical program definition and execution. Identify technical tasks and resources for projects and create engineering development plans, WBS, etc. needed to execute projects. Manage system requirements and define lower-level requirements. Oversee/review technical reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. + 8+ years of experience as a technical lead. + New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry. + Ability to effectively communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently. + Experience in executing a project from the beginning to the end. + Excellent presentation skills. + Experience developing WBS, project plans, technical requirements. + Strong documentation and writing skills. + Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and comfortable in a laboratory environment. + Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with actuation systems and power controls. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
