Job Description
We are looking for Product Development Interns to join our 2025 summer internship program in Portland, ME!
Responsibilities:
Interns will work within our Product Development teams in either the Molecular or Immunoassay areas assisting in validation studies. These positions will work on projects such as streamlining data generation for the seed industry, developing sample preparation methodologies to maximize DNA availability, and running gels to characterize the condition of DNA and proteins.
The primary responsibility of this position will be preparing experimental samples, collecting data, summarizing data into spreadsheets, buffer preparation, quality control testing, and running PCR. These positions will report to a Product Development Manager and would include work on one or more of our platforms including Lateral Flow strips, ELISA plates or our new DNAble solution.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology, Bioengineering or another related field.
Qualified candidates will be self-starters who can work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for quality and documentation is a must.
