Job Required:

High-tech industry, product engineering, and/or IT work experience (7-10 years)Management experience in education-related products, such as a Learning Management System or Student Information SystemExperience with Azure DevOps (spring planning, monitoring, backlog refinement, bug tracking, etc.)Experience with managing team(s) responsible for software, hardware design, engineering, and development functions.

Preferred:

Scrum Master or Project Management Experience and/or certification.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Manage research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products;Work with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization;Assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases;Act as a technical consultant to the product organization and lead research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products;Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product / business roadmap;Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements;May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
