Summary: We're seeking a skilled Product Development Manager with a solid background in insurance product management to shape and enhance our product line offerings. In this role, you will collaborate with business leaders to define product strategies, lead implementation of updates, and provide expert guidance across teams. This is an exempt role, reporting to the Director of Product Management. Responsibilities: * Develop and refine product line strategies in alignment with complementary business areas * Oversee the execution of product updates, including adjustments to rating algorithms, policy terms, and both back-end and front-end systems * Serve as the go-to expert for assigned product lines, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of features and benefits, and offering expertise to both internal teams and external stakeholders * Perform research and analysis on legal issues, competitor products, market demands, and emerging trends to ensure product competitiveness and compliance * Guide a team of product analysts, fostering technical excellence and high morale * Manage rate, form, and rule regulatory filings, ensuring productive relationships with regulatory bodies * Communicate product modifications across departments and support product training initiatives * Design and update product and procedure documentation * Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other departments to facilitate cohesive collaboration
