Product Development Manager (AIR)
In this key position, as a manager of Product Development for Korea branch, you will be involved in the planning and execution of Air forwarding service management and reports of varying market situation and scope on all aspects of the organization including people management, sales & operation support, RFQ, overall Product P&L, sustainable profitable growth, and development of Air Freight Product in the country with direct management of airline procurement and performance, capacity fulfillment, pricing, customer relationships / retention / growth and operations / service excellence in alignment with Regional / Global Product and Operations Strategy and Standards in cooperation with Operation teams / Sales team in good harmony. The ideal candidate has significant experience about price negotiation with Air lines, cooperation with multiple audiences and levels, solving problems related to Air space. At C.H. Experience the full benefits of teamwork and immediate collaboration in a vibrant and engaging workplace.” **Responsibilities:** + The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: + Collaborate with regional procurement team leads to setup long & short term sell rates and actively participates in product enhancements/developments and pricing discussions + Works with local and regional management to develop sales strategies, target lists, and volume growth for Air & Ocean + Shares customer specific data, requirements, and expectations with internal resources to collaboratively create viable supply chain solutions + Uses effective negotiation and sales strategies in discussing pricing and selling solutions + Makes recommendations of strategic nature to ensure sustained growth of C.H. Robinson market share on identified traffic lanes + Communicates and ensures execution of strategies by working with local and regional sales resources and overseas counterparts + Visits key regional offices to promote the trade lane and join sales calls with local sales resources + Provides market specific training/awareness to all local sales resources and regional staff + Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements **Required Qualifications:** + University degree in related field or equivalent experience + Minimum 5 years of Global Forwarding Sales experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university + Excellent English written and verbal communication skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Knowledge of the logistics industry, solution design, and supply chain + Proven ability to create and coordinate comprehensive Trade lane programs + Demonstrated sales, interpersonal, and analytical skills + Strong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills and business acumen + Values a diverse and inclusive work environment **Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer** C.H.
