In this position... 

Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple disciplines (Engine, Fuel, Exhaust, Powertrain Mounts, and Thermal Systems) to drive enhancements in test methods, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and prevent recurrence items.  You will play a role in strengthening Ford's quality system and contribute to improved customer satisfaction. 

You'll have... 

Bachelor's in Engineering 3 or more years of experience in an engineering discipline

Extensive experience with failure mode avoidance process (i.e. Quality History, DFMEA, P-Diagram)Product design and release experience preferredStrong problem solving and analytical skills (FMA, 8D, DMAIC, 3L5W, etc.)A team player approach with the ability to work well with cross-functional teamsStrong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to higher levels of managementDemonstrated experience working with automotive propulsion systems, thermal systems, and powertrain mounts.Familiarity with Ford Quality Systems Knowledge of Ford's Global Product Development System & program management processes, including key delivery dates and the quality of deliverables required to robustly meet expectations
