We are currently seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US-LA), United States (US).

Role Summary: Performs at the highest level of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Designs end-to-end business architectures, process flows, and data models aligned with clients' core objectives. Defines application/system standards for application components, integrations, and interfaces. Coordinates with Enterprise Architect, Lead Database Architect and Technical Architect to design consistent, compliant, compatible architectures. Plans optimization of system/application performance and software component integrations. Analyzes application architecture for technical debt and plan reduction in technical debt. Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance. Includes security standards into application architectures, such as HIPAA, NIST, CJIS, and Treasury. Builds relationships with clients to improve services and ensure service levels are being met. Solicits, develops, documents and manages requirements and provides detailed application architectures rules to support the requirements throughout project life cycle up to and through change control. Advises on Medicaid and social services policies and best practices. Applies knowledge of MITA 3.5 Standards to the development of Application Architectures. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other team members. Supports product roadmap development and prioritization. Conducts stakeholder workshops and training sessions. Assesses solution capabilities, scalability, performance, and security in accordance with clients' specific criteria. Develops comprehensive business cases and delivers persuasive presentations to senior management. Engages with clients' business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT teams to identify their specific needs and translate them into pragmatic system solutions. Ensures alignment between business strategies and IT initiatives Ensures alignment of architectures with business requirements and technical requirements, as well as client defined technology stacks. Identifies and plans remediation of technical debt. Collaborates with IT teams to manage system integrations, data migration, and comprehensive testing activities. Coaches, motivates, and guides team members.

Required Skills

Minimum of 6 years of designing application architectures for state and/or federal agencies required, Minimum of 6 years of designing application architectures that include incorporating industry standards such as MITA 3.5, HIPAA, NIST, and other applicable standards required

Preferred Skills

Undergraduate degree Certification from Technical Architecture Program (AWS, Azure, TOGAF, etc.) Preferred. Experience designing application architectures for State and/or Federal agencies.
