This position assists the Product Development Manager in the design & development of assigned brands.

Position follows hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.

What You'll Be Doing:

Own the Design and Product Development of HOME TEXTILES (bedding, bath, living room and kitchen for specified brands. In close partnership with PD Manager, merchant, and sourcing counterparts, you’ll drive a cohesive brand vision ensuring that products meet assortment strategies, price points and overall creative direction. Lead research and design for home textiles products.Review and comment on lab dips, and all strike-offs and hand-looms for layout and execution.Create seasonal color palettes and presentation materials for milestone meetings.Create original artwork for home textiles products (beach, bedding, bath, living room and kitchen)Re-color existing artwork, create colorways, adjust scale for different home textiles product.Active participant in product packaging needs and product attributes.Sketch designs in Illustrator (flats) and communicate construction details to Tech Design and Sourcing counterparts.Responsible for all the creation and maintenance of PLM packages and CAD Assortment Line Sheets.Lead in Sample Reviews for specified Own Brand. Lead communication to all cross-functional partners in a timely manner.This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.

What You'll Bring With You:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education).5-7 years of experience in Apparel Fashion Design or Apparel Product Development.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze, interpret & apply market/ trend info.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work in cross-functional teams.Basic industry knowledge of design, garment construction and textiles.
