SUMMARY OF ROLE
Produces 3D models, detailed drawings, assembly drawings and general arrangement drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) necessary for the manufacture and documentation of parts required to meet customer orders.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
General scope of job:
-    The activity is punctuated daily by current orders.
-    Works within an engineering team and collaborates with other production sites (Korschenbroich in Germany, Székesfehérvár in Hungary).
-    Produces drawings independently. The drawings are checked by another designer and approved by an engineer.
-    GA drawings creation for business in Europe (dimensional drawing with pneumatic sketch) according to Customer Order / Write-Up
-    Checks the drawings produced by other designers.
-    Ensures compliance with state of the art practices applicable to drawings: Drafting Manual, Drafting Standards (DS), Engineering Standards (ES). Monitors the evolution of these practices.
-    Ensures compliance with international standards (ISO, EN, ASME, RCCM, etc.), or customer specifications, applicable to the product.
-    Manages the workload while respecting the priorities defined by the Product Engineering department manager.
-    Each employee must apply the quality, safety and environment policy defined within the company, as well as the normative, legal and regulatory framework of their position. This also includes compliance with the internal regulations, the rules in force in the company and in the group, the procedures, operating methods and safety instructions of the position.
-    Each employee is responsible for the tasks assigned to them, for their proper completion according to the applicable procedures and therefore for Nuclear Safety. They must also maintain a questioning attitude and report all suspicions of fraud and counterfeiting to the appropriate hierarchical level.

1.    Parts Design
-    Create the CAD 3D model and the detailed drawings necessary for manufacturing the technical solution.
-    For the detailed drawings:, indicate the functional dimensions and their tolerances, set up the geometric tolerances (shape, position, orientation tolerances, etc.) based on the applicable documentation.
-    Use international standards or customer specifications for the construction rules applicable to the product.
-    Save the drawings and 3D models in the database and submit them to the product engineer for approval.
-    Check the drawings produced by other designers.

2.    Parts modifications
-    Create the new revision of the plans drawings and submit it to the product engineer for validation.
-    Check the plans drawings and modification plans of other designers

3.    Database and CAD tool management
-    Loading unavailable drawings into the database.
-    Maintaining the database of 3D and 2D models.
-    Interacting with the global CAD team and making suggestions for improving CAD tools.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
-    Technical education and diploma in Industrial Drafting 
-    Mastery of industrial drafting design techniques, functional dimensioning and geometric tolerancing.
-    Mastery of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
-    Knowledge of English
-    Knowledge of manufacturing processes (like milling, turning, welding, etc)
-    Knowledge of the different international standards applicable to products: EN, ASME, RCCM, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
