Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the design and development of both legacy and new products. This role offers a balanced mix of design work and cross-functional collaboration on the manufacturing floor, providing a well-rounded experience.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks for the design and development of legacy and new products.Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to assess project feasibility.Create project proposals using Microsoft Suite.Collaborate with cross-functional groups and engage with floor members for seamless project execution.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in design and analysis.Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks design software.Experience with FEA and GD&T.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience in fenestration, including windows, doors, and cabinetry, particularly in design and analysis of wood.Experience with door and window casements is highly desirable.Work Environment
