Job Title: Product Engineer Job Description + Utilize knowledge of mechanics, engineering, production methods, product specifications, and industry regulations to develop and/or coordinate new products or changes to existing products, certifications of new and existing products, and supervise testing and/or field testing and testing personnel. + Implement new product changes to determine testing prototypes and requirements. + Understanding of AAMA, Acoustic Hurricane and/or glazing specifications for building materials. + Coordinate vendors and purchasing for production implementation. + Develop and maintain up-to-date records for all product lines. This includes: Bill of Materials, fabrication drawings, profile and extrusion drawings, cut sheets, and assembly drawings. + Design new and existing products using AutoCAD Inventor. Hard Skills + 5+ years experience using AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks + 5+ years experience in building materials industry, specifically windows and door manufacturing + Experience in sheet metal and vinyl extrusions, molded cast parts Job Type This is a permanent position.
