Overview

Teledyne e2v provides high performance CCD, CMOS and IR sensors for space science, earth observation, astronomy and high energy physics applications. Sensors are designed, fabricated, post-processed, packaged and tested in our facilities in Chelmsford (UK) and Grenoble (France).
Teledyne e2v is now working on several large-scale, multi-year projects that are significantly increasing the demand level on its operations. In recent years, Teledyne e2v has also secured contracts to deliver solutions at a focal plane level, including mechanical assembly, cryogenics and proximity electronics.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Engineer to support image sensor manufacturing.
The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting the product lifecycle for standard production, maintaining product quality and providing engineering support for operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the standard product lifecycle from new product introduction and standardisation through to discontinuationCreation and maintenance of datasheets and test sheetsExport classification of productsAct as the “Voice of Customer” for product qualitySupport quality investigations (NRB, RCCA, 8D)Support the customer returns processInvestigate yield issues Non-conformance engineering reviewsFeedback improvement activities into operationsProvide engineering support for operationsProvide technical training for operators
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Engineering roleExperience working with imaging sensors and/or semiconductor manufacturingAnalysis skillsAttention to detail and a quality mindsetExcellent communication skills, written and verbalWorking knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
