Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the design and development of both legacy and new products. This role involves a balanced mix of design work and cross-functional collaboration, with approximately 50% of time spent in design and the other 50% interacting with team members on the manufacturing floor.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks for legacy and new product development.Perform FEA and GD&T to run feasibility analyses on projects.Create project proposals using Microsoft Suite.Collaborate with cross-functional groups and floor members to ensure project success.Essential SkillsProficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks design software.Experience with FEA and GD&T.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating macros and writing formulas.Experience in fenestration, windows, doors, cabinetry, or design and analysis of wood.Minimum 2 years of experience in design/analysis post-education.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, etc.).Experience with ERP system changes is a plus.Experience in designing and analyzing door and window casements.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $41.00
