Job Title: Product EngineerJob Description The Product Engineer focuses on project management, product development, and product improvement activities within the Profit Center. This role ensures efficient product substantiation, new product introduction, and ongoing process improvements for the assigned product line. Responsibilities + Lead and be accountable for new product development activities within specified product line(s). + Maintain the status of all development activities and communicate appropriately with internal and external customers. + Ensure a thorough and effective transition of new products and processes into production. + Coordinate the completion and issuance of cost estimates. + Develop process planning, incorporating customer requirements, and coordinate reviews with quality and production personnel. + Ensure effective design of production tooling. + Manage the issuance and accuracy of production work instructions. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree; B.S. in Materials or Mechanical Engineering preferred. + Technical work-study or intern experience in thermal spray coatings preferred but not required. + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, geometry, trigonometry, and proportions. + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. + Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. + Experience in thermal spray processes. + Knowledge of robotics. + Experience in tooling design. + Product engineering experience, preferably in Aerospace or Automotive sectors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in drafting and tooling design. + Experience in outsourcing to customers. + Experience in planning processing and development for parts. + Baseline understanding of CAD and robotics; training will be provided. Work Environment This position is on-site. The role offers hands-on training and development opportunities. The location is 20-45 minutes from Historic Wilmington and several beach towns across eastern North Carolina, providing a unique work-life balance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Will get from client. Seeing if we can flip to CTH.
