Your Position:

Major Purpose

Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

Major Duties This position will be in Electrical design team, and responsible for Vehicle harness and/or other electrical components design work mainly for Product Delivery Process (PDP) programs, it also will touch Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, including concept design, drawing, modeling and process work in SAP, PDM system and provide support to production line when needed. Participates in Design Process and Assembly Reviews (DPARs), print reviews, and design reviews of new products. Work with PV&V or Quality team to identify test items, help making test plans and analyze test reports Support or directly work with cross team to investigate product quality problems or other vehicle issues happened on production line, PV&V machine or filed customer machines, determines root cause, gathers and analyzes data and implements corrective action to reduce or eliminate non-value waste resulting from non-conformances, scrap or reclaim. Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications together with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel Learns and applies Company engineering policies and practices Required Knowledge of industry standards in terms of Electrical system / components, etc. 2-3 years of technical experience relating to design/diagnostics/test of electrical system, knowledge of drawing or schematic interpretation Desired Creo Skill, pro/e skill, PDM process knowledge Wiring harness design experience English skill Education At least Bachelor’s Degree in electrical / Mechanical /Vehicle Engineering discipline or equivalent experience Skills, Abilities, Knowledge Engineering TechnologyEngineering DesignEngineering DevelopmentEngineering SpecificationEngineering TestingEngineering BuildEngineering ImplementationHealth and SafetyData Collection and AnalysisVerbal CommunicationAction PlanningProject Risk and Issue ManagementProject Tracking and ReportingProject Scope ManagementProject ManagementProject Organization and Structure
