Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven Product Engineer/Piping & Material expert with expertise in piping and material specifications to join our team in Vaasa. Other office locations in Finland can also be considered.

In this role, you´ll collaborate with colleagues and customers globally, contributing to exciting project deliveries across various industries.

​To succeed, you will need:

M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical / Process / Chemical Engineering

Project experience in Plant Engineering

Knowledge regarding relevant codes and standards, e.g. EN13480, EN10216 & 10217, EN1092, ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.12, PED, NORSOK

Corrosion knowledge of pipe materials

Knowledge about piping materials in the energy, gas cleaning and chemical plants, increasingly for Methanol, Hydrogen and Ammonia services: ​​​Valves, Flange types, Bolts & gaskets and Piping supports

Experience in developing piping material specification

Good communication and reporting skills in English and Finnish or Swedish

A proactive, business minded and self-going attitude, able to find solutions for customer requirements

Knowledge and experience of welded, sheet metal structures or casted parts is a benefit to success with your duties

Siemens Teamcenter & NX experience (capability to manage PDM & PLM and design activities)
