International’s System Architecture team develops system level requirements for International’s vehicle functions, as well as defines vehicle network, functional and communications architecture constructs. The Product Engineer- Platform Architecture, will also be responsible for assisting in the definition of the EE Architecture including, but not limited to, functional allocation, messaging definition and module I/O allocation.
This position will be located at International’s design center in Lisle, Illinois. Occasional support may also be required at International’s test and production facilities, as well as occasional onsite support at suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities• Development and documentation of CAN, Ethernet and/or LIN messaging constructs
• Creation and maintenance of vehicle network topologies
• Management of device I/O
• Problem solving and implementing solutions to hardware and control software issues
• Work in a team and contribute to the continuous improvement activities through participation in Lean projects, technical knowledge capture, process improvements etc.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 8 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologiesOR
