Responsibilities

The Product Integrity Analyst oversees the adherence to established standards and product execution across respective departments as it relates to fabric, color, wash, and quality to proactively ensure a defect-free product life cycle. Responsibilities encompass fabric and garment testing, care code confirmation, and resolving production issues. Additionally, the role would include the ability to recognize patterns via our product governance feedback loops to lead detailed quality investigations and resolve issues while interfacing with cross-functional teams and global partners to mitigate risks, therefore managing the variables around the consistency of our product.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all factory audit requests in partnership with the Sourcing and production teamOversee vendor Pilot and PP meetingsAudit global partners to ensure fabric, color, and wash accuracyActs as the point person for all company quality call-outs coming from any of the existing feedback loopsResponsible for leading quality investigations, reporting back quality findings, and aligning on next steps as well as issue and closure of call out to vendor and factory Lead all investigations of Bazaar Voice online quality feedback. Provides next steps and follow up to e-commerce and Merchant teamsReview fabric and garment testing reports and ensure accuracy to Express standardsOversee care instruction assignments for garmentsManage color submissions to ensure color consistency of product using digital and visual assessmentEstablish non-denim wash ranges to ensure consistency of hand feel and visual aestheticOversee care instruction assignments for garmentsTravel to vendor, mill, and factory partners to ensure alignment to Express principles and agreed-upon Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Assess production at mills and factories to ensure adherence to fabric standards and contract green tag samples Calibrate personnel at the vendor, mill, and factory level as necessary to Product Integrity standards Onboard all internal new Sourcing and Production associates to Integrity principlesOnboard new vendors, mills, and factories when visiting our home officeAttend the seasonal risk assessment meeting organized by Sourcing and Production and provide input based on experiences from previous quality investigationsParticipate in key milestone meetings to understand potential style risks and prepare suppliers for risks on key volume programs and highly embellished novelty items

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles or equivalent work experienceExperience: 3 – 5 years of technical design and/or garment production experience; minimum 2 – 4 years textiles experience in color matching and fabric technology
