Becoming the best airline is an adventure. And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Key Responsibilities:Drive incremental revenues in a project management role to build new and enhanced existing revenue management technologies and business processes, coordinating cross-functional implementation of systems changes with all RM market groups, CIEO and IT.
Support identification and research of business opportunities in the Pricing and Revenue Management areasCoordinate with PRM department, IT and CIEO to develop business requirements for new and enhanced revenue management and pricing systemsParticipate in user acceptance testing for system improvements, collect feedback from users, and deliver findings in a timely manner to partnersApply subject area expertise to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis in team projectsSupport definition of problems and plans in ways that can be solved using quantitative techniques and implemented through development of automated systems or procedural techniquesAct as resource for Pricing and Revenue Management to raise and resolve core support issues with IT departmentSupport documentation efforts of PRM systems and business processesAssist in developing practical and theoretically grounded guidance to support the department’s decisions working collaboratively with CIEOListen attentively to collaborators both inside and outside the department and identify a situation where everyone is happySupport cross-departmental efforts to implement solutions where necessaryQualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree (Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Economics or an equivalent analytical degree)3 or more years of PRM or RM-CIEO experienceStrong understanding of pricing and revenue management concepts and science and familiarity with United PRM business processesStrong project management skills, experience with Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) intermediate knowledge of SQL and Spotfire business intelligence toolsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degree (Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Economics or an equivalent analytical degree)Advanced SQL, experience with TFS or similar project management toolsThe base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $135,960.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
