Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced strong Product Leader who is also a technologist that is passionate about Kubernetes and understands the state of the industry and also understands commercial aspects of partners and community. This person must have a deep understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies and Kubernetes ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and success of our cloud-native products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. As a Product Leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our customers' experience and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Define, communicate, and drive a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market opportunities, particularly focusing on PLG and Kubernetes. Provide an opinion on where the industry is going.
Roadmap Development: Develop, maintain, and drive a product roadmap that outlines the evolution of our Kubernetes-based solutions and PLG initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer / community needs and business objectives.
Customer Insights: Collaborate closely with our customers to gather and analyze feedback, monitor market trends, and assess the competitive landscape. Together, we leverage these insights to make informed product decisions, ensuring our offerings align with and support our customers’ evolving needs and goals
Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are focused on delivering the highest value features and improvements.Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams.PLG Initiatives: Drive Product-Led Growth strategies by identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience, streamline onboarding, and increase product adoption and retention.Kubernetes Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Kubernetes to guide product development and ensure our solutions meet the needs of enterprise customers leveraging container orchestration.Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, upcoming releases, and strategic direction.QualificationsQualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a tech company, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and Product-Led Growth strategies.
Kubernetes Knowledge: Very deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is essential. Strong ties and relationships in the Kubernetes community.
PLG Expertise: Proven experience implementing and driving Product-Led Growth initiatives, with a track record of increasing product adoption and customer retention.
Technical Background: Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed product decisions.
Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present to executive leadership. Strong public speaker that can speak passionately, in a structured manner on products/projects.
