Product Line Manager, Bussmann Division

Eaton’s Electrical PCS group is seeking a **Product Line Manager** for our Bussmann product line. Up to 50% travel will be required, including global travel. The role is located in Ellisville, MO, a western suburb of St Louis, MO. Relocation assistance is available.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Bussmann, the Product Line Manager will manage a US P&L that exceeds $500M. They will own strategy development, business planning, product/service road-mapping, training plans, new product introductions, product lifecycle management, profit planning, price realization, sales execution, and monthly financial reporting. Presently, the role manages a team of seven direct reports.
**In this role you will:**
• Ownership of P&L for the product line to meet all financial commitments - sales, market share, price realization, profit, and cost out goals
• Ability to build relationships with all levels of an organization, both internal and external, including executives as well as key customer and supplier contacts
• Ownership of performance management, goal setting, development planning and coaching for all team members
• Partner with marketing communications team to develop and coordinate marketing communications materials for all sales channels and customers, related to product value proposition messaging, new product/service launches, channel promotions, product news
• Be knowledgeable about technical benefits of product offering, competitor capabilities and practices, and market conditions to support development of customer use cases
• Support execution of Place, Product, Promotion, Price, and People commercial programs as part of an intentional strategy to manage product line segment and portfolio mix
• Focus on process improvement around monthly reporting, developing a system of leading indicators, and incorporating new technology into existing processes
• Conduct voice of the customer activities (customer visits, industry association participation, general market research) that give us actionable data on customer requirements used to set appropriate service levels, make staffing decisions, and fuel a robust new product and services funnel
• Responsible for Product Line strategic planning (including footprint/manufacturing strategy), product and service road-mapping (including technology roadmaps), and product line review activities with senior management
• Define and implement product marketing strategies that include opportunities for organic growth as well as identifying and nurturing third party partnerships/joint ventures as well as sales strategies aimed at target customers and channel development
• Partner with supply chain function in developing and managing relationships with direct source partners
**Your Qualifications:**
• Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in commercial and/or marketing business development, and product management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Experience with channel networks such as distributors and/or outside sales representatives
• Ability to partner effectively across multiple businesses or groups, collaborating with professionals at varying levels (including C-suite), to develop business and go-to-market strategies
• Solid business acumen with working knowledge of basic financial statements, prior P&L ownership that exceeds $100-200M
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing required from an accredited institution
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience directly managing and leading teams to meet business goals
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams and/or prior international work assignment
• Experience working with industrial circuit protection products and applications
• Experience with steering new product development projects and processes
• Masters degree in Business Administration or similar

The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year.
