Key Responsibilities:
Oversee product line profitabilityDrive product line innovation pipelineDevelop and implement product line strategyIdentify key customer/brand targets that fit product’s capabilitiesWork with Sales Management to drive and support pipeline developmentEngage with customer in support of sales engagements to drive new projects and pipelineCreate differentiated service and selling programsLeverage advanced product knowledge to help sales initiate customer driven projectsLead product centered projects as a primary interface both between internal departments, 3rd party providers, and customers as appropriateConduct internal and external training on product’s technical/service value propositionProvide competitive analysis to understand market pricing, strength/weakness vs. competition, and positioningRecommend product capability enhancements to maintain viability and competitivenessProvide estimates/feedback on product performance through the budgeting processQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or higher from four-year college or universityFive (5) plus years related experience Strong business acumen, a customer-facing demeanor, and the ability to balance customer needs with operational efficiencyFinancial acumen to understand cost models, market pricing, P&L levers, and margin managementAbility to quickly develop a good sense of market/customer needs and solid knowledge of their productsLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER
