Product Line Sales Manager - Screening Solutions

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be instrumental in driving our growth strategy. The role reports to the VP of Sales Manager North America and is responsible for expanding Screening Solutions within the Sales Area.

Your role requires obtaining and communicating information related to the application engineering of screening products and providing technical service and support. Critical to your success will be the ability to understand your stakeholders and deliver information in a clear and user-friendly manner.

As the driving force behind the product line within the sales area, you are responsible not only for its overall results but also for ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the business. Your leadership, development, and management of the Product Line team are crucial. By fostering a collaborative environment with other product and business lines, you aim to unlock the full potential of sales opportunities and propel the business forward.

Location: Hybrid with flexibility in North America.

The role:
Business Growth and Development

Drive sales (may include handling all aspects of bidding, project studies, customer requests, providing leads, assisting on or making sales calls, making presentations, providing training, providing competitive intelligence, etc.…) directly to Customers and internally to our Account Managers and Sales Representatives and to our dealers.Responsible for Product Line – Screening Solutions P&L and NWC within the Sales Area, achieving profitability targets. Identify and develop sales plans and objectives for the Product Line customer base, inclusive of accurate forecasting, as well as the overall relationship with key customers, leading to constructive and profitable business partnerships.     Growing revenue and profitability through direct personal customer management to key corporate accounts in the Sales Area. Ensures expert technical support is provided at a high level to guarantee our customers extract maximum value from our products.Creates business development plans and targets for the product range in collaboration with the Division.  This will include introducing and managing new products to ensure customer satisfaction and value realization.Working cooperatively with the Account Management team to identify and pursue customer sales opportunities. Leveraging bundled deals as a tool to gain market share, where applicable.Create customer value propositions for the local market to create opportunities for Sandvik proactively.Manage AR/cash collection per contract terms.Coordinates market data for analysis, research, and design engineering to successfully develop new product offerings.

The Product Line Sales Manager should possess a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and 10 years of related industry experience. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business is preferred but not an absolute requirement. 

The ideal candidate will excel in creating and implementing long-term business development plans, leveraging their high computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Professionalism, honesty, and integrity are essential, as is the ability to see the big picture while focusing on details. A working knowledge of relevant applications and the ability to assess and manage business risk are highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and exceptional listening skills are crucial for engaging with stakeholders and driving successful outcomes.
