The Heat Transfer product line value stream, a part of Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) within the Power & Controls business unit, is seeking a Value Stream Leader (VSL) to lead the Military EACS product line.

The role will require close connections to the EACS customer value streams. Internally, the VSL will be responsible for the overall success of the Military EACS product line including leading cost reduction initiatives, producibility challenges to achieve rate, and managing aftermarket implementation to support global fleets. The person will be regularly engaging with the customer value stream and as required the end customer.  The person will be responsible for all cadence reporting for the value stream, as a minimum; revenue forecasting and attainment, margin growth, on time delivery, quality actions, customer satisfaction and improvement projects.

What You Will Do

Accountable for the overall success of the Military EACS product line and overcoming barriers to achieving required build rates.Lead all design & development packages of work required to support product line value stream needs, including associated company & customer funded engineering (CFE/CuFE).Lead the product line Integrated Program Team (IPT) to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets.Ownership of Collins Management System (CMS) maturity and Gate reviews in conjunction with Customer Value Stream & Business Development.Work with customer value stream to ensure product continues to meet end customer needs, including growth of new products and opportunities.Responsible for all Military EACS product line compliance; contract adherence, specification compliance, supply chain flow down, quality requirements and global trade.Accountable and responsible for the key financial aspects of the Military EACS product line and driving margin growth.Reporting of performance and defined metrics to Product Line Value Stream Management, Customer Value Stream Lead (VSL) and others as necessary.Work with Product Line Value Stream Management to develop forward-looking product strategy, as well as developing technology and manufacturing roadmaps.Effectively communicate with multiple lines of management.Responsible for change management.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
