You will work among awesome marketers, engineers, designers, and developers in a fast-paced environment that owns the consumer solutions for the following leading marine electronics brands; Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, and CZONE. The Product Director, Digital Systems will be responsible for leading and coordinating Navico Group’s digital product strategy and delivery. With a deep understanding of our consumer, and software delivery leadership, the person in this role will be focused on defining and delivering key consumer software experiences for our leading brands. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager, you will work closely with embedded software delivery teams to deliver the roadmap for our world class products. This role demands strong leadership and a strategic approach to product development, guiding products from concept through R&D to successful market launch, while collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams. **At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.** Essential Functions: + Lead a global team of Product Managers, ensuring the long-term success of leading brands like Simrad, B&G, and CZone. Your team will manage a diverse portfolio of electronics and software products, including multifunction displays, radar, autopilot, gauges & instruments, digital switching systems, and more + Lead global, cross-enterprise efforts to review market conditions, understand consumer and technical trends, identify key uses cases, conduct market research, and acquire competitive information + Support the Go-to-Market process and deliverables for digital feature launches working in conjunction with nominated Engineering team to own end to end delivery process with Software Developers, UX/UI Designers, Systems Architects, Product Managers, Brand Marketing, and Sales + Shape the New Product Development business case and project activation to ensure new product launches occur on-time, on-budget, and with maximum marketplace impact + Responsible for product lifecycle management inclusive of; sustaining, cost and quality priority, end of life, model line enhancements, and SKU management + Operates as a general business manager to orchestrate the main elements of the product strategy that drive the Brand P&L performance such as product/market requirements, pricing and margin, competitive positioning, lifecycle management **Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.** Required Qualifications: + 10+ year of product management experience working with electronics products + Proven track record in defining product roadmap, launching to market, as well as building, prioritizing and maintaining product roadmaps against a consistent organizational strategy + Experience managing cost parameters, business planning and ROI assessments around product investment + Prior work with software experiences for physical devices such as experience in Smart home devices, Automotive Infotainment, Telematics products, or software experience used in commercial or industrial equipment + Strong track record of commercial business development with emerging technologies. + A successful history of defining a clear compelling product strategy, engaging, and aligning the cross-functional organization, through to market realization Preferred Qualifications: + Excellent business and financial analysis acumen + Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills + Experience leading a global team and working in a global matrix organization + Ability to translate market and business needs to technical requirements and vice versa **Add Pay Verbiage** The anticipated pay range for this position is $129,500 – $219,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
