Product Management Director - Employee Experience Data Products

We are looking for an experienced product management leader to build, coach, and manage the team of product managers responsible for core employee data such as employee profiles, HR/ support operations, and talent/ skills data. This role will have impact both within the central corporate functions as well as firmwide across all lines of business.

As a Product Management Director you will be a successful product transformation leader who will demonstrate measurable improvements in the governance, cost, and quality of the data within your domain – especially for downstream use-cases that drive improved efficiency and impact. Job Responsibilities: 

Managing and develop a team of data product managers Partnering with engineering leadership to craft and execute roadmaps for the agile scrum teams in your data domain Setting and drive metrics – via technology enhancements – that are strategically relevant to JPMC Creating buy-in for your product area's overall vision both internally and with key Line of Business & Functional partners.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

6+ years of Product management experience (2 years of Product leadership). Articulating a vision that attracts, excites, and retains excellent product managers. Setting metrics and objectives for your product managers to achieve that are strategically relevant, exciting for stakeholders/ sponsors, and drive commercial growth Successfully driving adoption of discovery-oriented product management practices and routines (outcome-driven roadmaps, discovery sprints, frequent demos, etc) Coaching and growing product managers on your team. Qualitative discovery – uncovering opportunities and assessing value in qualitative research settings (focus groups, interviews, demos, etc) Quantitative discovery – uncovering opportunities and assessing value in quantitative research settings (analyzing usage metrics, segmentations, etc) Engineering partnership – imparting empathy of end-users to your engineering partner Managing to a metric – ability to organize a team around understanding drivers of a metric and experimenting with ways to address those drivers  Empathy – ability to understand perspectives of colleagues and influence collaboratively
