As we rapidly grow our presence in the mobility advertising space, we're seeking a talented Product Manager to help us shape the future of our ad platform, building products from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
Product management at Lyft leads the integration of engineering, data science, research, and design to achieve the company’s vision for reinventing transportation. As a product manager for Lyft Media, you will help drive forward the ad infrastructure that supports our best-in-class products. We're looking for a seasoned Product Manager with a passion for building advertising systems for high-performing ad ops teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching and scaling platforms, a deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners. You will define the product strategy and roadmap for UI products across Lyft Media, empowering internal and external partners to interact seamlessly with our systems. This role is based in our New York City office.
Responsibilities: Serve as a champion of advertisers and account managers and advocate for their needs at all levels of the company. Launch products that help them achieve maximum velocity, focusing on reusable components and easy-to-use workflows. Help develop the long-term vision and short-term objectives for our Ad Ops Interfaces team, build a roadmap, and lead a core team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to achieve it. Align cross functional partners beyond your immediate development team to drive this shared vision. For example, Account Management, Ad Ops, Sales Ops, Global Supply Management, and Legal. Clearly communicate priorities, problems, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences, from partner teams to executives. Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation through development, launch, growth, and maintenance. Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position. Set your team's goals, success metrics, and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research, and usability studies.Experience
5+ years of Product Management experience with a demonstrated history of launching and scaling successful ads products. Experience working in ad tech and strong understanding of the landscape, including how advertisers express their needs, how creative and campaign details are trafficked, and how Ad Ops and Sales teams report back on results. Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem. Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level — within teams, within the company, to users, to press, and other audiences. Detail oriented with superior organizational skills — balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $148,000 - $185,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
