Product Manager, Advanced EV Digital Transformation

As a Product Manager, you will continually grow and adapt your Program and Product Management subject-matter knowledge and technical expertise to provide solutions and guidance that will enable us to have a holistic view of the progress, risks, and dependencies across various Advanced EV (ADVEV) vehicle program milestones and teams. You will be working on a small, high-performing ADVEV Digital Transformation (ADT) team’s mission of unlocking product and engineering innovation with streamlined, automated, and collaborative solutions. This requires a high interaction and collaboration quotient to deliver fully integrated EV vehicle systems that achieve aspirational targets associated with cost, weight, and efficiency, and exceed operational tolerances required to provide the ambitious project scope. You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.   5-7 years of product management experience with proven results in collaboration, and enterprise software, including In-depth knowledge of the Atlassian suite, specifically Jira, Confluence, and third-party apps.   Demonstrated success in driving product development and managing full Atlassian suite product lifecycle.   A learning mindset and curiosity.   Comfortable defining and tracking key business and success metrics.   Demonstrated experience defining the product vision, strategy, and delivering value that solves problems for enterprise customers.   A strong instinct and methodology of prioritizing among opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions.   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.   An effective relationship builder and able to influence without authority.   An eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team.   A system approach with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvement.   Experience building a compelling vision to empower teams and inspire senior stakeholders.   Customer-centric focus, enjoying working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products.

What you’ll do...

Mature our org’s Jira strategy, increasing adoption and consistency to provide a holistic view across our teams and vehicle build milestones.   Capture, understand, and prioritize Jira requests.   Work with our Jira Admins to represent the “customer’s voice” when developing some of the more complex projects, validating that our implementation is working as we intended.   Maintain the overall governance of the ADVEV Jira instance, Jira products (e.g., Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management), Confluence spaces, and third-party apps, ensuring a streamlined, consistent approach (e.g., custom fields, workflows).   Understand how teams are currently capturing, prioritizing, and tracking their work to then build a strategic plan that will help everyone move towards a clearer, more effective, and lightweight approach to enable teams to work more effectively with the use of improved Portfolio and Program Management applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence).   Work across many teams and roles across the company, requiring the ability to quickly understand their goals, challenges, and perspectives to be able to help them succeed while connecting their work and dependencies across the ADVEV vehicle programs.   Develop and maintain an overall framework and processes to be able to connect various teams (and their work) together across various vehicle programs and build milestones.   Develop and manage the adoption of program data analytics toolsets and dashboards to monitor team progress and identify constraints and timing gaps.   Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize, plan, and oversee the product development process.   Act as a product evangelist, communicating the product vision and value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders.   Monitor product performance, conduct regular evaluation, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product functionality and user experience.   Review and understand requests for Jira integrations with other tools and systems to be able to prioritize and support funding requests.   Engineer Jira and Confluence permissions to support access to maintain confidentiality of engineering requirements, diagrams, drawings, and other renderings necessary for team collaboration and program delivery.   Develop processes, tools, and automations to efficiently monitor issue resolution, and identify opportunities for greater integration, velocity, and collaboration across functional teams.   Manage administration, training, security groups, and data integration for ADVEV Digital Transformation such as Jira, Confluence, and various third-party add-ons.
