As a Product Manager in Athena Trade Risk & Services Product team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
 Job responsibilitiesDevelops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityAnticipates and identifies issues that will inhibit attainment of goals and proactively solving those problemsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the value stream, driving cohesive product development.Works collaboratively with the team as needed for assistance on various projectsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementProduct research, roadmap planning, analysis, technical writing and marketing;Proven experience in value stream mapping, analysis, and optimization to drive continuous improvement and deliver maximum value to customers.Strong understanding of Lean principles and Agile methodologies, with the ability to apply these frameworks to enhance value stream performance and product delivery.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsDemonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: "tell a story" with data.Track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadershipKnowledge of Financial Reference Data and  Commercial & Investment Bank businessesConflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skillsFamiliarity with advanced analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications in a business context.Confidence in communicating internally at all levels
