Product Manager, Claims

Marsh is seeking applications for a talented Product Manager from a claim’s operations or insurance background.

Based in our London office, you will work directly with Marsh’s Global Head of Claims Operations, together, helping evolve the product strategy and execution of Marsh’s claims management product suite globally.

As a key part of Marsh’s Global Digital organization, you will help adapt, implement and evolve Marsh’s digitization strategy for clients, colleagues and carriers.

Working directly with claims operations, claims advocacy & solutions, digital, data, and technology delivery teams, ensuring that our digital product suite for claims is best in class and integrated with Marsh’s overall digital end-to-end offering.

What you need to have:

Proven experience as a Product Manager in claims or insurance products, solutions or operations.An insurance background or knowledge underwriting, brokerage, P&C, personal linesA passion for identifying how emerging technologies can improve the customer experience and drive value in the insurance industryA talent for improving the customer experience/journey, including design thinking.Experience in Agile product development and working with cross-functional teams.

Set the strategic direction for claims capabilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand client and colleague needs and shape the vision and roadmap for the claims capabilitiesEnsure a strong customer-centric and outside-in focus by establishing a sound design thinking process and feedback loopDefine the product vision for the client and associated roadmapManage agile delivery of claims solutionsDevelop user stories, epics, and spikesWork closely with the delivery owners to refine, and prioritize product backlogsWork closely with the scrum team and scrum master on digital implementationFoster cross-functional collaboration:Facilitate communication and coordinate efforts between various teamsBridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a collective understanding of project goals and expectationsBecome an expert with respect to the competition and industry trendsManage stakeholder relationships:Engage with executives, business users, and IT teams to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide updates on Claims products
