Responsible for supporting the Product Manager in the lifecycle management of HF scientific products, manufactured and purchased, including P&L, planning (strategic and tactical), product marketing and forecasting. The Product Manager interfaces with all areas of Watts Water Technologies including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering.As the Water Quality Product Manager (WQPM), you will oversee the water quality strategy for the Watts Applied Solutions Platform, focusing on the Instrumentation business, including Ballast and Municipal water markets. You will manage the product portfolio and lifecycle from development through to end-of-life. Your role involves collaborating with multiple teams to guide new product development, value engineering, and marketing initiatives, with a key responsibility to create and implement training and educational programs. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be accountable for the product family’s sales and margin performance.
You Will:
Develop and implement the commercial water quality roadmap for Watts Applied Solutions, focusing on new product development and strategic initiatives for water quality.
Manage the product lifecycle, including development, introduction, growth, maturity, and sunset phases, and develop action plans for each stage.
Create and deliver robust training programs for commercial water quality, collaborating with Watts-Water Quality, Marketing, and commercial teams.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop product collateral such as brochures, website content, case studies, technical data sheets, training videos, and more.
Represent Watts at relevant trade shows and industry committees to stay informed on market trends and regulatory changes.
Research opportunities for partnerships, joint ventures, or acquisitions to expand the water quality offering.
Conduct voice-of-customer research to validate market dynamics and develop business cases for new products.
Define commercial specifications for products based on market research and customer feedback.
Support sales and marketing teams with go-to-market activities, promotions, and campaigns for new and existing products.
Conduct competitive analysis and develop strategies to stay ahead of competitors in the water treatment market.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering, or product management within the Water Treatment Industry.
Proven experience managing new product introductions and product lifecycles.
Ability to work strategically and tactically to drive business results.
Broad experience in product development, sales, and marketing functions.
Ability to travel up to 40%.
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $116,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
