We are looking for a Product Manager, Forestry Cranes who will be responsible for shaping the next generation products, based on market data, customer insights, cost and technology targets and by establishing the strategic positioning of both price and specifications in line with the company's overall profit and sustainability targets.
As a result of this the Product Manager will implement the BL product strategy in order to deliver profitable growth through differentiated customer experience and performance across the lifecycle, supporting sales.
This role can be based in Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain or the Netherlands and will report to our Director, Global Product Management Heavy & Superheavy Loader Cranes.
Main tasks and responsibilities Drive and support sales, growth and profitability for defined market and products in line with budget and strategy, supporting the Global Product Management Understand and adapt to the market situation Deliver customer and market intelligence: trends/needs, product performance & competitive offering Handle majority of local product related questions Take major role in launching of new products and options/features Organize and give product training on area level React promptly to customer requests and demands Identify focus segments supporting local sales strategy Participates in product councils and gives input to PLC and NPD work Deliver customer feedback and insights to services Participate in sales planning and business reviews with sales Support Global Product managers in cost analysis (cost development, fixed costs vs direct costs, CSC vs BL vs PSC, inflation, ...) Administration of product data in configurator and sales tools What you’ll need to succeed Technical and/or Business Degree 5 years in similar role, from product management or product strategy Best if from heavy machinery/equipment companies Plus from the forestry and or recycling equipment makers Good technical understanding of product & application Data analysis capabilities Strong commercial, strategic and influencing skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a Matrix structure in ambiguity Customer centric mindset Experience with MS Office and Google suite Fluency in English, both written and verbal Driving license You will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
