Product Manager, New Product Development - Sarnova - Dublin, Ohio
Overview Sarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of health care products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Responsibilities Hybrid Work from Home Schedule: Mondays & Fridays, work from home! Summary: The Product Manager for New Product Development is responsible for identifying and commercializing new product lines and services opportunities for Sarnova’s Cardiac Response division. The Product Manager will work in conjunction with Senior Leadership, Sales, and Marketing to define and execute new revenue strategies for Cardio Partners products and services. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset. Organizational Impact: What you do each day matters. In this role you influence organizational strategy and direction by building our pipeline of new products / services and onboarding new vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify potential new products and services for the Cardiac Response division Work cross-functionally to identify new revenue streams and advance current pipeline initiatives. Monitor industry trends and develop comprehensive growth strategies for critical market segments. Develop the company’s positioning, targeting, and strategies as it relates to new products / services to enhance profitability and performance, in conjunction with the Product Management Director, Sales leadership, and BU President Investigate, evaluate, and vet potential new product / service lines for market viability, strategic alignment, and revenue potential Formulate comprehensive business plans encompassing market opportunity, go-to-market strategy / positioning, potential revenue opportunity, along with market readiness / release strategy for presentation and approval by Senior Leadership In partnership with the Category Management team, identify potential portfolio risks in both the existing portfolio and in proposed business plans, and proactively work to develop and execute on strategies to mitigate them Interface and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and MIS/IT leaders to fill portfolio gaps and address market demands Attend some local and national tradeshows to identify new revenue opportunities Articulate and sell the value and vision of Sarnova to potential new business partners Organize, track, and report out on new opportunities and pipeline of ongoing projects Skills/Experience Required: Strong business acumen, including exceptional financial and data analytics skills. Requires progressive thinking and professional presentation with critical thinking and good judgment in a broad business perspective. Understanding and adherence to new product launch process coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset – applying Sarnova best practices and creating standard processes specific to Cardio Partners Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability communicate and influence. Strong contract negotiation skills Strong project management and marketing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Proficiency with Microsoft suite is required, experience with PowerBI is helpful Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other area of study with business / marketing experience Experience in Business Development and/or Marketing strongly preferred.
