The Vanguard Financial Advisor Services product team is hiring an experienced, outcome- and client-centric product manager to help discover and define the right opportunities that advisors value and that drive the team’s outcomes as it relates to portfolio analytics capabilities and digital experiences.
This Product Manager will be responsible for product and solution discovery, partnering closely with an Advisor Experience Researcher, User Experience Strategist, and Product Architect- as well as other product managers and engineers across the organization. This PM will lead the cross-functional effort to discover and crystalize advisor needs and to start to explore solution concepts that might fuel a future-facing roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have a strong outcome orientation; an owner’s mindset, including overcoming obstacles to get things done; deep client-centricity; comfort in operating independently and managing ambiguity; clear communication skills; and use data, research, and context to make good product decisions.
What it takes:
Previous or current product manager experience is required with strong understanding of product life cycle and product discovery.
Strong familiarity with investment concepts, particularly as it relates to product and portfolio construction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
