The Product Manager is a visionary strategist, process innovator, and dynamic leader responsible for driving the evolution of T-Mobile’s governance program. This role will focus on collaborating with Finance, Product, and IT to map processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement systematic changes to accelerate delivery across all touchpoints of an initiative.

Every product or initiative at T-Mobile is designed to achieve specific business objectives, and this role is pivotal in ensuring alignment between governance frameworks and delivery goals. The Product Manager will lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders to transform governance into a streamlined, scalable program that empowers faster and more effective execution.

This position requires a balance of deep customer empathy, strategic thinking, and technical and operational expertise to optimize processes and deliver measurable outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

Governance Program Leadership

Lead the evolution of T-Mobile’s governance program by collaborating with Finance, Product, and IT to map and refine processes that accelerate delivery across initiatives.Develop and manage a roadmap for governance improvements, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Product Execution and Delivery

Translate governance and process improvement strategies into detailed user stories and features, ensuring they are actionable and aligned with delivery objectives.Own and manage a backlog of governance-related initiatives, prioritizing based on business and customer impact, and serving as a key liaison with development teams.Partner with architecture and development teams to address technical debt and ensure scalability and long-term sustainability of governance processes.Monitor and report on key performance metrics through dashboards and reports, tracking the health and success of governance-related changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Product, and IT to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within governance and delivery frameworks.Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Steering Committee meetings to ensure alignment and drive accountability for governance program milestones.Communicate trade-offs and technical challenges effectively to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making that balances short-term needs with long-term goals.

Strategic Impact

Represent the governance program at the enterprise level, influencing decisions that enhance T-Mobile’s ability to deliver initiatives efficiently and effectively.Lead efforts to streamline processes and accelerate delivery across all touchpoints, driving measurable business impact and value.

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

Identify execution and operational issues that impede governance and delivery success, driving systematic solutions to resolve them.Maintain accountability for the quality and performance of governance processes, ensuring timely responses and stakeholder communication in the event of critical issues.Create training materials and tools to support the adoption of governance changes across teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)

Work Experience:

4+ years' experience Relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (required):

Agile Methodologies - Proven success in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.Technical Writing - Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.Agile Project Management - Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.Collaboration - Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest.Project Management Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives as Product Manager or lead technology role.Communication - Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.

Base Pay Range: $103,400 - $186,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
