As a key member of the Personal Portfolio Product Management team, you will be responsible for driving 3 key stages of the product lifecycle: Product Development, New Product Introduction / Launch, and Sustaining through end-of-life management for voice products that drive growth of the HP Poly Voice business. The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the hardware for in-market phone products are effectively managed through the active product life cycle, including all sustaining activities, end of sale planning and execution.
You will partner with the software product manager to deliver new sustaining phone software releases. Customer satisfaction is critical, and in this role you will work with the Engineering Customer Support team to ensure customer escalations are effectively managed and efficiently resolved. As part of the drive for customer satisfaction, you will also work closely with the technical sales team to ensure our major customers and partners are supported.
You will partner with the Voice category management team to ensure active, in-market products continue to meet market and end customer needs as well as working with the category and operations teams to ensure forecasts are defined appropriately, product is available when needed, and inventory is managed tightly to optimize business performance.
You will Support new product introductions to ensure that post launch activities such as transition and partner certifications are completed. Understand all aspects of the planning and delivery process to ensure that products are delivered in line with the documented plan of record.
As a member of the product delivery team, you will also be expected to provide inward customer and channel feedback to the planning team to complete the circle and prepare for the next generation of products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plays a leadership role and drives progress of the products under span of control.
+ Leads cross-functional teams through product development and sustaining processes for product hardware and software.
+ Monitors competitive situation and understands customer needs for certain product improvements that can be fed back to the planning team.
+ Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities for new software and hardware features.
+ Recommends product requirements and definitions to align with stakeholder's needs.
+ Collaborates with the software, hardware and quality engineering teams as well as the category and operations team on product sustaining activities.
+ Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across the sustaining phase of the lifecycle.
+ Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments.
+ Collaborates with marketing, category, and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and marketing collateral.
+ Demonstrates process improvement and project management experience, preferably with the implementation of large projects.
**Education & Experience** **Recommended**
+ Four-year College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Product/Industrial Engineering, or any other related discipline (Graduate-level degree preferred).
+ Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development for high technology products, or a related field.
**Preferred Certifications**
+ Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification, or any other related certifications.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

The base pay range for this role is $115 850 up to $168 000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
