Founded in 2008, Locumsmart provides web-based software-as-a-service solutions to the healthcare recruitment industry. The Locumsmart web-portal provides workflow automation, vendor management (VMS), and managed services provider (MSP) software for lowering costs, and increasing the efficiency of recruitment. Locumsmart is looking for a Product Owner (PO) for our core B2B platform, the Locumsmart Vendor Management System (VMS). The individual must have the ability to understand strategic vision and execute accordingly. The ideal candidate excels at advocating for the voice of the customer and understands the value of each request and how it aligns to strategic goals.
The PO is responsible for making decisions on behalf of the business, to guide the development team on inflight stories. The position is remote with occasional travel to distributed Locumsmart offices, particularly Raleigh, NC. The Product Owner will report directly to Locumsmart Product Management.
Responsibilities
Responsible for learning and becoming a subject matter expert on the core product
Responsible for understanding the goal and value of roadmap items in order to provide context and help the agile team produce acceptable solutions that meet the business need.
Engage with internal and external customers to understand impacts and desired outcomes
Collaborate with the agile development team to ensure epics and user stories are well written and understood
Qualifications
3+ years experience with agile, kanban, or scrum methodologies
Experience implementing a web based software as a service tool (B2B)
Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into user stories.
Ability to proactively find areas for improvement and collaborate on solutions.
Effectively communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience presenting ideas and information in a group setting.
Preferred
Locums/healthcare industry background
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Proficient in Jira
SQL experience
Experience supporting and implementing APIs
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400-- $220,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
