Product Manager
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to work on our Programmatic Demand Side Platform. This position is located in our New York, NY office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.
Job Overview:
The Product Manager overseeing Haymarket’s Demand Side Platform (DSP) will work closely with a cross functional team including Executive Leadership to create a competitive SaaS product and bring it to market. This role will be responsible for all facets of the product development life cycle, delivering on time and to budget with an eye towards innovation and user experience. Candidates should have direct experience working with DSP’s, understanding universal pain points and be passionate about developing creative solutions. An understanding of the nuances surrounding healthcare marketing would be a significant advantage.
Initially, this individual will focus on requirements gathering/writing, prioritizing and removing barriers for a dedicated engineering team. Strong interpersonal skills, a love of collaboration and teamwork are imperative. The ideal candidate will be an experienced product manager who can apply industry best practices to the buildout. Once in-market, the effort will include listening to customer feedback and evolving market trends to maintain a robust roadmap of product enhancements. This person must excel at pivoting between high-level ideas and granular operational/tactical execution, all while maintaining a focus on business growth. Equal confidence between speaking with business leads, customers and development teams is a must.
Responsibilities:
Based on experience, define all viable use cases for the DSP
Working with the User Experience team, ensure all use cases are intuitive and represented in the product
Define all requirements and document for build
Prioritize features and functionality
Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are executed on time and to specifications
Develop clear and compelling roadmaps and support proposed concepts with technical plans for product enhancements/extensions
Partner with Marketing and Business Development to assist with product launch, promotion and positioning in the marketplace through the development of unique value propositions
Work with the User Experience team to develop a prototype for Sales
Pull usage reports, synthesize data to inform process and next steps
Support the product evolution by gaining a deep understanding of the needs of prospective and current customers, partners and end-users
Understand the underlying technology to vet and understand complexity versus speed to market considerations
Skills and Requirements:
Core Product Management Experience: Minimum 7+ years, preferably in B2B media, with a strong focus on programmatic DSPs.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of databases, data structures, data management, clean rooms, and modern data architecture.
Data and Analytics: Strong knowledge of measurement and marketing analytics principles.
Domain Expertise: Experience in the Health/Medical digital space.
Product Lifecycle: Proven ability to define, launch, and manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to go-to-market.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate high-level strategic concepts into actionable plans and deliverables.
Technical Requirements: Excellent technical requirement gathering and writing skills.
Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong experience working with development and other cross-functional teams.
Planning and Execution: Ability to develop and execute product roadmaps, resource allocation plans, and KPIs.
App Development: Direct experience with app development and life cycle management, including Google/Apple submission processes.
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Project Management: Solid experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
