Product Manager
Description We seek an API Product Manager to oversee the optimal performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing APIs. This role involves managing and enhancing APIs, addressing errors, and ensuring seamless system integration. Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain API performance. + Monitor API usage and performance metrics, generating reports and identifying improvement areas. + Troubleshoot and resolve API errors, collaborating with development and stakeholders. + Ensure seamless API integration with systems and databases through cross-functional collaboration. + Stay updated on API management best practices and emerging technologies. + Conduct API audits and assessments to identify risks and enhancement opportunities. + Gather stakeholder feedback and requirements for API improvements and new features. + Collaborate with the development team on API enhancements, updates, and bug fixes. + Ensure API development and usage comply with security and privacy standards. + Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external API users. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. + Proven experience in application development with a focus on API management, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Strong understanding of programming languages, development frameworks, and software architecture. + Expertise in RESTful APIs, API gateways, and related tools and technologies. + Proficiency in API documentation and reporting, generating insights and recommendations. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address API issues. + Familiarity with security and privacy standards in API development and usage. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Working knowledge of databases and Salesforce. + Experience with API management platforms and tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
