Product Manager

Position Summary:

The Associate Product Manager will develop connectivity solutions for Enabling Technologies systems by working with customers and cross-functional engineering teams. This person will be required to act as the voice of the customer on complex, multi-disciplinary development projects. The position will be hands-on and requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even-tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility and maturity.

Essential Functions:

Collaborates with management to establish strategic plans and objectives

Creates and manages a project plan for each project in conjunction with the product development team

Leads development efforts associated with the User Interface and User Experience with software

Maintain relationships with Design Team Surgeons through regular meetings and communication of projects progress

Performs and maintains a market analysis for each assigned product segment to identify new offerings and line extensions

Leads coordination and documentation of project team activities, including: kick-off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation activities and cadaver lab utilization

Develops market introduction plans for each product

Forecasts and oversees inventory management for all projects

Ensures timely and high-quality documentation of DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs for each project according to the company’s quality policy and regulatory bodies[OC1] [HC2] 

Obtains market feedback from surgeons and other customers to determine functional specifications for new product development

Partners with the operations department to setup manufacturing and/or purchasing as appropriate for each project

Participates in product introductions through sales training, customer calls/visits, etc.

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of related experience;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advanced project management skills

Experience with new product introduction and lifecycle management

Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Open to travel to attend surgeries and labs when needed
