Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Business Unit Weighing Solutions is in charge for the high-end Laboratory weighing and dosing business within METTLER TOLEDO. As market leader, we differentiate us from followers with unique innovations with perceived customer value. Our main markets are the Pharma, Chemical, Food and Testing Lab industry for R&D, Quality Control and Scale-up/Pre-production workplaces.
In order to ensure the steady growth of the Laboratory Weighing Unit and to always guarantee a high product quality, we are looking for a goal- and strategically oriented Product Manager 100% (all genders).
In this role, your responsibilities include: You take end-to-end responsibility for one of our Excellence laboratory balance portfoliosYou promote solutions actively at market organizations with a value selling type of approachYou define related sales and marketing tools for an effective execution and successful portfolio promotionYou plan and execute sales trainings, events, and market introductions to drive a robust Go-To-MarketYou work in conjunction with business area managers and sales force to ensure two-way communication between product management and market organizationsYou identify strategic growth opportunities based on segment, workflow, and application knowledgeYou develop the solution strategy accordingly and ensure continuous improvementsYou develop business cases and value propositions for new solutions and drive product development projects in close collaboration with R&DWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You have a scientific background (you e.g. hold a university / FH degree in e.g. Chemistry, Pharma, Engineering) You have laboratory experienceYou possess a minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience (e.g. product manager with marketing experience) within an international environment, ideally in a global matrix organizationStrong customer focus, marketing and business affinity combined with analytical approachYou have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German is a big plusYou have the ability to network and communicate effectively with market organizations and customers through excellent interpersonal skillsYou hold strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyWillingness and ability to travel up to 20%Our Offer to YouWe offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
