Product Manager

What We Need:
Brady Corporation is seeking a product manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies for Brady SPC North America products. The individual will work closely with Global Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to create sales enablement tools, internal and external marketing programs, and training to achieve regional sales and margin targets. Additionally, this role will play a key part in the creation of the product positioning and messaging to drive differentiation and business value to our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Lead the planning and executing of integrated go to market strategies for new and existing products and solutionsthat drive regional awareness, product adoption and revenue and margin goals.
+ Drive the development of the right marketing materials for the right audience. This individual will leverage their expertise, key data points, customer feedback, and sales input to create the most effective marketing tools, messaging, and tacticsto reach and engage with the intended target audience (e.g., webinars, targeted marketing campaigns, catalogs, trade shows, case studies, product launch events, online marketing, etc.).
+ Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market.
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, competitive landscape and go to market strategiesin target markets and audiences. Leverages this understanding to influence price, customer segmentation opportunities, selling opportunities etc.
+ Develop and execute regional promotional programs, bundles, etc. to drive incremental revenue/product consumption as necessary.
+ Create effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders - Global Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Operations,Marketing, Digital and Pricing teams to achieve goals.
+ Drive excellence in execution by improving processes, collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
+ Develop and lead sales training for internal and external audiences.
+ Partner with sales to identify product gaps/opportunities.
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with key industry associations, groups and individuals.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
+ Expertise in product management, project management, business development, strategic planning and product marketing.
+ Demonstrated excellence as a self-starter who has experience leading product management teams in a high growth environment, including P+L responsibility, marketing and launching new products.
+ Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and ability to operate effectively in both tactical and strategic capacities -- you can comfortably adjust your altitude and roll-up your sleeves as needed.
+ Exhibit sound product discernment, ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.
+ Strong sense of ownership and a "whatever it takes" attitude towards getting stuff done.
+ Boundless creativity when it comes to generating ideas, but an understanding that execution is what ultimately matters.
+ Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of product management experience
+ Must be able to influence and lead cross-functional teams and prioritize and optimize the efforts.
+ Entrepreneur's attitude and mindset
+ Broad experience in many aspects of integrated marketing including demand generation, brand positioning, product launch campaigns, digital marketing, and trade shows.
+ Experience delivering effective product marketing strategies and tactics as well as sales support.
+ Engaging communicator and presenter/ English fluency.
+ Up to 30% travel
