Amazon’s Softlines Private Brands (SPB) team is looking for an energetic leader with excellent bias for action, ownership, and ability to invent and simplify to lead our promotional events. This individual will work with Amazon and SPB stakeholder teams to set a deals strategy, drive process enhancements, identify ways to automate tools and reporting, and create and curate innovative deal experiences on behalf of customers and category teams. They will ensure standardized processes to achieve defect-free deals and will create and own closed-loop mechanisms between APB’s global teams, Amazon’s Event and Tech teams, and leadership to ensure we learn, stay aligned and are successful in delivering against goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop workback plans and event readiness docs inclusive of deal strategy and execution.
- Develop clear and consistent communication mechanisms to track against outlined goals.
- Develop reporting, tools, mechanisms, and best practices that can scale broadly across APB.
- Identify opportunities for cross-category and/or global deals.
- Deliver post-event retrospective recaps with key insights and best practices.
