Key Responsibilities:The Product Manager will be expected to work with technical leads, scrum masters, and other analysts/product owners to deliver projects, maintain systems and support production. While their role will have a focus on payments related to ancillary documents (EMDs), this product owner may be asked to support any project impacting the EMD system. They will collaborate with other team members from start to finish: to obtain knowledge on how a project impacts our systems, how requirements should be implemented, working with project and delivery teams to draft and refine user stories, and working with developers and testers to ensure requirements are completed to plan. This role’s goal will be to support the development team by explaining business expectations, explaining the current business model, and helping to design features. Finally, this candidate must be able to lead by example and integrate effectively with existing team members.
Product Development and Lifecycle Management: Help define and communicate the roadmap for services within your domain; ensure the roadmap supports company objectives, helps prioritize features and aligns with company priorities. Maintain capacity management plans for the team, ensuring roadmaps align with team capacity
Product Strategy: Assist in developing a strategic technical roadmap. Analyze and define efficient, cost-effective solutions to support company objectives, dept objectives, business processes and functional requirements.
Product Research and development: Conduct and participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements; prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information
Collaboration and collaborator leadership: Interact with business partners, enterprise project teams, and channel teams to understand their needs, priorities and root of the problem to ensure alignment between the customer, business, and technology solution.
Product Launch: Review and validate QA test plans; support the QA team during test execution
Data Analysis and guidance: Helps outline performance indicators and success metrics. Partners will monitor the progress of work, keep dependent teams and projects informed on progress, and take corrective action if work cannot be met or if higher priorities disrupt prior commitments. It helps identify investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments for the feature.
