The product manager must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. It is important for the Product Manager to develop first-hand knowledge of market needs through interaction with original equipment manufacturers, end-users and channel partners. The product manager communicates and coordinates with all areas of the company. You will work with the engineering team to define product release requirements.
