Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Product Manager at our Hodges, SC facility. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.
This position provides leadership in product line strategy, marketing plans and growth programs, and new product development / customer value propositions to enhance sales and profitability growth for the Busway product line. The Product Manager owns all marketing activities and documents required for PROLaunch New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Involved in business development with the product line team, collaborating closely with Eaton’s North American Sales (NAS) teams on strategic customer opportunities to grow revenue and market share. Works closely with the Product Engineer to drive customer solutions. The Product Manager must have an excellent knowledge of the product line’s customers (contractors, industrial, data center, OEM), core and emerging vertical market segments, and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of selling engineered assemblies.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,800 - $181,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**
+ Work closely with Product Line Mgr./ Product Line leadership team to achieve Profit Plan Financials annually & support forecasting as needed.
+ Provides product application knowledge, customer interface, and develops and executes tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.
+ Involved in new product development, strategic direction planning for the product line, and implementation of new product and services launch plans.
+ Provides cross-functional coordination on product line programs to optimize customer service and market penetration.
+ Answers application questions, developing and implementing growth plans, providing sales support, conducting competition/ market analysis to drive product development efforts. Develops marketing collateral to educate and inform sales and customers of solutions.
+ Supports and develops training programs, and the development of marketing collateral to enhance market penetration goals.
+ Provides marketing leadership in the Product Roadmapping, ProLaunch, Advisory Board, and Business System (including Bid Manager) development processes.
+ Own the VOC (voice of customer) process & collection into the product line. Transform inputs into new product development ideas / projects.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
+ Minimum 3 years of engineering in Busway, Electrical Distribution, and/or field sales engineer experience.
+ Must be eligible to work in United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
+ Prior direct experience with the Busway product line.
+ Excellent knowledge of the types of customers in the industry and market dynamics.
+ Strong understanding of technical applications.
+ Working knowledge of the overall sales function, customer channels, and negotiation techniques.
+ Product application knowledge, customer interface, and the ability to develop and execute tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals are a key ingredient for this person.
**Skills:**
+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, Word, PowerBI), Bid Manager, Sales Reporting, VISTA.
+ Possess a broad knowledge of principles and practices within a field of specialization (electrical engineering) and an understanding of business strategies, culture and work to achieve results.
+ Determines customer / market segment targets to enhance objectives. Develop plans to capture targets.
+ Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner is essential to success -- oral, written, and in presentation format. Interfaces include upper management, peers, and customers (external and internal).
+ Evaluate market conditions (potential, economic environment, competitor tactics / product offering) in order to provide / set volume forecasts and price level expectations.
+ Determines product requirements for acceptance in the marketplace and provides this input to product development / product line management functions.
+ Candidate must possess a good understanding of technical applications and possess strong knowledge of UL and NEC requirements.
+ Candidate needs to have a working knowledge of the overall sales function, and customer channels, and be able to anticipate customer needs to maximize Eaton's ability to obtain new business.
