Product Manager

Emerson has an appealing role for you – we are looking for a Product Manager, to be a part of our product management team in Denmark.
Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams, the main focus for this role will be developing new products and commercially drive existing products, supporting the growth of the business. 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Ensure sales/profitability goals for the various Tank Level Gauging products are achieved/exceeded Identify new TLG growth opportunities, together with the Product Marketing Manager, within applications, markets and next generation technologies Monitor TLG technology developments within and outside our business domain and identify actions to exploit potential market opportunities and eliminate potential threats. Conduct competitor analysis and apply the analysis in the product development. Drive Product development from a commercial point of view. Support the solution manager with in-depth product knowledge.

    For This Role, You Will Need: University degree or equivalent in relevant engineering field A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the marine industry, of which at least 3 years in a product development/ product management function, sailing service in technical department or other proven experience.  Good knowledge or understanding of the marine applications on a vessel. Sailing experience is a plus. Good knowledge of project and/or product management principles. Experience with project management is a merit
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Good commercial knowledge of basic business economics, project valuation and preferably outbound product marketing Excellent social and multi-cultural skills Excellent presentation abilities Good Class Rule knowledge for marine applications and experience of approvals handling
