Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunication, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Component Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic components, including but not limited to inductors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, and transistors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the performance of the company's electronic components products by providing support to internal teams, conducting market research, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n\nIdentify opportunities for new electronic component products and make recommendations for product development.\nServe as a technical point of contact for customers and sales representatives, answering questions and providing solutions.\nProvide technical support to internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer service.\nConduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competition.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.\nDevelop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and market share.\nProvide training and education to internal teams and customers on electronic components\nParticipate in industry events, such as trade shows and conferences, to stay informed about new products and trends.\n\n
Qualifications:\n\n5+ years of experience in electronic component product management or a related field\nBachelor's degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business or a related field)\nExcellent knowledge of electronic components, including their applications and specifications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with multinational teams\nExperience with product development and management\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs\nWillingness to travel internationally for industry events and supplier meetings 30-40%\n\n
